What’s the difference between a fat mouse and a skinny mouse?
Not a lot when they’re unwelcome visitors in your house

I wonder; do they have a same problem as we the humans do. I mean do they look down on each other because the body – shape difference? Or they don’t give a shit about it and just go on living as it is? It got to be a phenomenon that we, with higher intelligence, are so much indeed preoccupied with thoughts about our bodies.
As a parent I find very disturbing when I see how the youngsters treat, each other, in the school, on the street or even at home. Describing someone’s personality they usually comply with bodies look; “Oh, she/he is so fat or skinny; did you see how big ass she/he has or she/he has no ass at all and so on and on”. Despite the efforts we are putting in, trying to raise them best way we can we found ourselves competing against the Media channels.
For some reason, in the last few years, the Media started to feed youngsters and even us “the older ones” about importance of eating habits and motions for the sake of health. OK I’ll buy that. But when we take a little closer look what do we se? Yes, precisely, the Media went out of proportions. In a strange way, actually they are telling us, and our kids, that it is shameful and ugly to have a few pounds extra, or if our belly shows (regardless age). On a TV they show what to do and how (by work – out or pills) to keep your body; not your health, in shape.
Then when we turn on to another channel we see fashion model marketing. There you have to be skinny, very skinny, and now the Media is notifying us about society problems such as bulimia and anorexia.
First they tell us; “don’t eat or you’ll die” and then they tell us; “eat or you’ll die”
