Shake your germs off

The time has come; flu, running nose, cough, fever, bellyache, stomach illness and god knows what more. Typical for this time of year. I mean it’s a winter time, right? And what usually happens during that time? Of course… a lot of germs seek a new “home”, warm & moist place where they can multiply and live happily ever after. Somehow we keep forgetting that our bodies actually function as carriers and at the same time as transporters of the huge “germ force”. And we are all aware that most “common” germs are “stationed” in our palms. But how uncaring we are when it comes to hygiene it might come as shock to many of us. Let’ see just a few statistic facts;
70% of men, after taking a leak, do not wash hands
50% of women, after taking a leak, do not wash hands.
99% of both men and women, after coughing into their palm do not wash hands
99% of both men and women, after wiping off running noses do not wash hands
90% of both men and women, after “digging up their noses” do not wash hands
But despite the knowledge we still love to shake hands; on streets, bowling, dart, tennis or any similar events and especially in pubs. And all that is, just to show some kind of respect to each other.
How about giving a respect to ourselves, our health?
It’s just a thought.

We had the noro virus at the school in March and that was also to do with not washing hands. Strangely though in the girls houses towels are daily changed but in the boys houses no soap or towels in sight. You would have thought that a lesson was learned.

Why not love to shake hands?
We need challenges and the germes have right to live :)

It’s nice to see I’m not the only one. At a moment I thought paranoia was taking over my mind

I read you everywhere! Where are you?

Expressing emotions is a natural act in ones character. It gives your heart and your mind such a pleasant relief. Holding it inwardly makes your heart shiver.
